Canadian Country Music Awards
One night. One stage. One ticket. All the stars of Canadian country! At the close of four jam-packed days, the annual CBC-televised Canadian Country Music Awards Show celebrates and recognizes the talent of this nation in an extraordinary awards presentation that delivers all the stars of the genre.
This year, Vancouver's own GM Place is the host venue of The Canadian Country Music Awards, broadcast live on Sunday, September 13, 2009.
It remains one of the most anticipated live performance showcases of its kind broadcast nationally on CBC Television, with encore airings on CMT in Canada, GAC in the U.S., and CMC in Australia.
Country Music Week 2009
In what has become a hallmark of excellence for the entertainment industry, Country Music Week is an annual 4-day, action-packed event organized by the CCMA. It combines music industry panels and seminars, awards, receptions, international industry interaction, a multitude of live performances and unique options for community involvement.
This year, The City of Vancouver, B.C, host city of the 2010 Winter Olympics, is proud to host Country Music Week from September 10th to 13th, 2009.
